How to Close a Maintenance Request

This help article explains how to close an existing maintenance request in MagicDoor.

Step by Step: Close a Maintenance Request on MagicDoor

Follow these steps to close an existing maintenance request:

1- Navigate to the Maintenance dashboard:

  • Click on Maintenance in the left sidebar
  • Select Maintenance Requests from the menu

2- Update the request status:

  • Locate and click on the specific maintenance request
  • Find the Status dropdown menu next to the Edit button
  • Select Closed from the dropdown options
  • The request will be automatically updated

Note: Once closed, the request will move to your closed requests history.
